(More customer reviews)They're eye droppers, plain and simple. Because they're glass, the tips of the angled ones have a tendency to break if dropped. That is quite obvious, but I'm surprised at how many I have broken in this way. The straight ones are a bit more durable.
Also, as disgusting as it sounds, I actually found the angled ones to be particularly good at removing tonsil stones too, something I've just recently found myself having to deal with. I find the size of the opening and the mild amount of suction these things apply to be perfect for removing the stones and gently cleaning out my tonsil cavities without damaging them. It takes a bit of patience and a steady hand, but is worth it.
