(More customer reviews)We had a conference at our Church that was based partly on this book, I was very impressed with the conference and so was my 15-year old son. So much so, that the minute we got home I ordered the book, not only for my son but for my teenage niece and nephew.
My sister said that she couldn't get my niece and nephew to read anything, that I had just wasted my money. Boy, was she surprised! Not only did they read it, they couldn't put it down! Neither could my son.
Now, I have to admit that I have not read the book, I have just flipped through it. But, I know that the book has made a difference in the way the kids think about pre-marital sex and waiting. They more clearly see the positive things that come from waiting, and aren't so worried about peer pressure. I wish I had had this book when I was a teenager!
Every adolescent should read this book, it is very direct and talks about almost every aspect of sexuality that is out there, every day, in front of our children. They are surrounded by sex, it's in movies, music, television, radio, school and church, isn't it time they see it from a different perspective, not one swayed by ratings and childish notions.
