(More customer reviews)Ok.. I just paid $25 to find out that I am not a doctor and I should go to one if I need my cholesterol checked.
First of all, it does not give you the HDL/LDL and triglycerides breakdown. Only total cholesterol and HDL. You need to be able to squeeze out a huge drop of blood. No matter how much I warmed up my hands and milked and milked my finger, enough blood needed for the test would not leave my body. Hence, the little button telling you that the result is ready never went up. They only give you one needle per each test.
Verdict for me: It's not worth it.
I suppose only if you are sure that you'll get enough blood get this. Hopefully, it might work.

(More customer reviews)I read the instructions and followed them to the 'T'. I fasted for over 9 hours. I filled up the cassette, and I promptly mailed in the sample. The only response I got was that they could not test my sample. No refund, nothing.
I recommend going to your doctor, local clinic, or just give blood and get your cholesterol for free. I learned about the latter after purchasing this piece of junk. I feel bad enough for not giving blood regularly. Now I am mad at myself for wasting my money on this piece of junk when I could have paid nothing, gotten accurate results, and helped someone else with donated blood.
