(More customer reviews)It seems like a lot of people have found this product effective. I, on the other hand, did not. I have had trouble sleeping the last few nights because of my cold. I can't breathe through my nose at all, and, like the commercial said, I blow my nose but nothing comes out, so that means I have nasal swelling. I was happy to see that there was now a product that pays attention to the swelling. I took this last night and felt no relief whatsoever. I lied down to go to bed after about an hour taking the product and still felt 100% congested. It took me probably about an hour to finally fall asleep. I woke up several times in the night and noticed that I could breath through my nose, finally. So MAYBE this stuff kicked in, however, I think it's unacceptable that it did not kick in shortly after I took it.

Before taking Claritin, and then switching over to this generic, I hadn't been able to breath freely for the past 8 years. I tried several of the latest prescription medications that my doctor gave me and they didn't work. I was going to give up and just put up with a stuffy nose, post nasal drip and a nagging cough for the rest of my life when I decided to buy a box of Claritin. It worked but it was expensive for long-term use.
This AllerClear is generic Claritin (loratadine). It works just as well and saves me way over $500.00 a year if I buy this generic brand instead. I haven't seen generic loratadine locally that is this inexpensive. Try it, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I would chew Pepcid Complete (which is an antacid drug combined with a base to neutralize acid) after every meal, as if they were after-dinner mints. Now, I just take Prilosec once a day, and now I almost never suffer from heartburn, and when I do, it is not as bad as it used to be. Trust me on this. This drug works differently than Pepcid or Zantac (I have a Ph.D in biology), so if those drugs don't work for you, don't be afraid to give this a try.
