(More customer reviews)I just got LASIK two months ago, and was looking for a good eye drop that I could use as an alternative to the single-use Refresh Plus drops. Through some research, I learned that Blink Tears are supposedly very effective eye drops for reducing the occurence of higher-order aberrations caused by LASIK, resulting in sharper, clearer vision throughout the day. The active ingredient is the same as in Systane drops, but it's much more affordable.
I've been using Blink Tears for about a week now, and can honestly say that it makes my eyes more comfortable and my vision crisper throughout the day. Overall, it's a lot thicker than Refresh Plus, so there is a brief moment of cloudiness/stickiness when I apply the drops, but they do seem to last a while. However, because of the thickness, there is no "instant relief" when my eyes are feeling particularly dry -- unlike with Rfresh, I don't feel that they are as good at "moisturizing" my eyes.
I would recommend these drops to post-LASIK people looking for a good, semi-gel kind of drop, but not for someone who needs a "moisturizing" drop for dry environments.
