(More customer reviews)I thought this would be the perfect thing for my husband,who recently suffered a heart attack, to carry his nitro tablets. Yes, it will hold the 20 tablets, but only if you open the bottle they came in and transfer them to this container. Once opened, the tablets only have a shelf life of 2 weeks. If left in the unopened bottle, they are good for a year. So, if we used this container, every two weeks we'd be renewing the prescription. I'm sure our insurance wouldn't pay for that and I would prefer not to either.
