(More customer reviews)I was in a very serious car accident last year, and covered head to toe in bruises afterwards for months. I used Traumeel on most of the really deep bruises, and felt that it contributed to a faster recovery. I don't respond well to conventional pain medication, and after a few weeks I went off my pain meds, but continued to use Traumeel. It helped control the swelling as well as calming the pain of the inflammation somewhat. Occasionally, when the pain got to be really bad I would take Tylenol-- the rare doses of that and the regular Traumeel were my saving graces for recovering from major contusions and badly bruised ribs.
This year I had major dental surgery and I took Sinnech, which is a high-grade arnica supplement, and then used Traumeel several times a day on my jawline afterwards to control the bruising. I am happy to say that despite being told to expect substantial bruising, my face didn't swell up that much at all, and I was able to go out in public looking mostly normal two days afterwards.
I recommend this product because it works alone and with other products, and doesn't seem to give off any adverse effects when I've taken Tylenol or other painkillers. It doesn't irritate my skin, which is very sensitive. I love the stuff and now my medicine cabinet has a tube in there permanently.
