SYSTANE LUB EYE NIGHTTIME OINT Review

SYSTANE LUB EYE NIGHTTIME OINT
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My eyes are so dry that in the winter I have to use ointments at night. I have tried this one, Refresh and Genteal and I prefer the Systane. It has the highest concentration of petrolatum and is lower in mineral oil--in other words it is quite heavy, but it works. In the morning my eyes are still comfortable.
As is the case with all of the ointments you are paying $10+ for glorified Vaseline, but since the product needs to be sterile, I don't think there is much choice. This is a messy product, but if you pull the lower rim of your eye out to the side and blink a few times it covers the eye fairly evenly.
One word of caution--don't even think about doing anything that would require clear vision for a while after using an eye ointment! It is like trying to see through extremely dense fog until some of the product is absorbed. I also noticed Systane has a small amount of lanolin, so if you are allergic to it you might want to try another one of the ointments.

Exceptional product to be used for the itchy eyes due to polen, dryness, and pollution.
I highly recommend it especially because the homeopatic formula will not create dependency, and it will calm the eyes immediately.

No mascara or liner
Will make them look finer
When late hours have left my eyes red.
That's not a flattering hue
When they're supposed to be blue,
Yet are rather crimson instead.
Then a few drops of Visine
Makes them clear, bright, and clean
As if I'd slept eight straight in bed.

Collyrium For Fresh Eyes 4 fl oz Review

Collyrium For Fresh Eyes 4 fl oz
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My local drug store stopped carrying Fresh Eyes last year. I have been making due with other eye washes. When I saw that I could order it on the web I was thrilled. No only are the prices low enough to make up for shipping costs, it is a better product for my sensitive eyes. I am allergic to many environmental irritants and often work long hours on the computer. Fresh Eyes along with a mild eye scrub each day elimininates the need for moisturizing eye drops throughout the day for me. I need my reading glasses less often as well.

Refresh P.M. Lubricant Eye Ointment, 0.12 Ounces Sterile (3.5 g) Review

Refresh P.M. Lubricant Eye Ointment, 0.12 Ounces Sterile (3.5 g)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I suffer with very very dry eyes. They sting a lot and I frequently have to put drops in them. Recently the drops just weren't doing it for me anymore.... felt like someone glued my eyelids open and sat me in front of an industrialized heavy duty fan. I had to take frequent naps daily just to help with my stinging dry eyes. I got headaches when I read or stared at the computer too long cause of persistent stinging. For my 'Dry eye syndrome' this is the FIRST and ONLY product that has really helped. My eyes are no longer red. They do not burn, they do not dry out quickly.
I still use liquid drops but maybe only once of twice daily and this is only because I am afraid my eyes dry out again.
This product is worth the money and I highly recommend it.

Rohto Arctic Redness Relief .4 fl oz (13 ml)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The first time you use this eye drop it may feel as if your cornea and sclera just iced over. It hurts just slightly, and feels cold enough to sort of burn, but it's not a very bad pain at all. It's brief and once it's passed, your eyes feel like they've just had a sort of tune up. The clarity that was lost from allergies or tricky contact lenses is returned and well lubricated!

Visine Tears Natural Tears Formula Lubricant Eye Drops, 1-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) Review

Visine Tears Natural Tears Formula Lubricant Eye Drops, 1-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I tend to gravitate towards this product for post-lasik dry eye relief. First of all, the bottle is well designed and easy to grab. The cost is lower than other formulations. The active ingredients do not rely on cellulose products, so it does not "crust" up over night. There is very slight post-instillation blurriness. I usually prefer eyedrops that use the 'glycols', rather than carboxymethylcellulose.

Systane Ultra Lubricant Eye Drops Preservative-Free Vials, 0.4mL 24-count Review

Systane Ultra Lubricant Eye Drops Preservative-Free Vials, 0.4mL 24-count
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Lubricant eye drops are expensive and of the many preservative-free eye drops I have tried, Systane Ultra Lubricant Eye Drops Preservative-Free Vials, 0.4mL 24-count are by far the best for my money!
I have chronic dry eye ever since getting shingles in my eye and also after a bout of optic neuritis. I suffer with a chronic illness that often effects my eyes and my opthamologist recommended I use lubricating eye drops, preservative-free only, several times a day and at bed-time. He gave me several samples to try and Systane was one of them. Of all the samples, Systane was my favorite.
With Systane there is no stinging, no stickiness, no blurriness. I feel comfort immediately and can resume reading promptly. Other drops can be too gel-like, causing a blurriness which lasts way too long for me. They are also very sticky, causing the eyelids to get crusty and stick together. Other drops sting and I am just too sensitive to deal with that discomfort, even though the stinging might not last very long.
Systane Ultra Lubricant Eye Drops Preservative-Free Vials, 0.4mL 24-count are not only the best eye drops for my chronic dry eye condition, but for my pocketbook as well. They seem to be the least expensive without compromising on quality. Amazon is my best source and I'm glad I can purchase them here.
