(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 78 year old mother, who was recovering from a serious sinus infection. After a couple of courses of antibiotics, which left her washed out, her doctor recommended Ayr Sinus Spray (all natural aloe vera version) to help sooth and gently open her nasal passages. It worked like a dream and didn't dry out the lining like other nasal sprays. In fact, I kept her well supplied whilst on the road to recovery. Like many of the older generation, she can only take very mild medications, so if you have a delicate constitution I would highly recommend this 'naturally gentle' but very effective spray.

(More customer reviews)Ayr saline nasal gel with aloe does work as promised, but if you're looking for bang for your buck, you're really not getting it here. .5 ounce used sparingly might get you through a week, but not a cold winter with dry heat. This is particularly so if you're having to use the gel more than once a day to heal a particularly dry or bleeding nose.

(More customer reviews)If you're reading this, you've probably had problems with colds or sinus infections. I've had several docs tell me that dry sinus passages contribute significantly to both conditions. They've suggested saline spray to keep my nose lubricated, particularly in the wintertime when heat is generally drying.
I've used Simply Saline spray for a number of years. The last time I picked up a bottle, I noticed the gel and decided to give it a try. The gel really does lubricate your nose and it lasts for quite a while.
I apply it by moistening a Q-tip with the gel and sticking the Q-tip up my nose. Sounds gross, but it works.
My only issue is that I wish they'd figure a way to get me a single dose of the gel.
