(More customer reviews)Using this on my 6-week old baby is thus far one of my proudest achievements as a mother...seriously. She's had difficulty breathing for a few days now due to dry mucus too far up to safely remove and this morning she began breathing through her mouth and snorting. I used the blue plastic bulb syringe which didn't help and the nurse said it could make the problem worse; she recommended I buy this product or a brand called Baby Noses, she said the baby would either swallow the mucus or sneeze it out. I was very skeptical that this would work, but I sent my husband anyway to the drugstore to purchase it. Within two minutes after putting a couple of drops in each of her nostrils she sneezed out two boogers the size of an eraser tip!? This could have explained why she was fussy and not eating well. Instantly my baby became serene and slept for almost five hours straight. Looking back the ceiling fan and the A/C in the car probably caused her mucus to dry out and get worse. After seeing my baby struggle with her breathing I'm so happy I was able to help her with her stuffy nose!!!

(More customer reviews)I used to get a bad headcold which turned into bronchitis once a year. I used Neo Synephrine, then that wasnt strong enough so I used Afrin. These products would open my sinus for 8-12 hours but I found it took a long time to get off of them as the rebound effect caused my sinus to keep swelling. I go with Ocean because it is doctor recommended, and like the other sprays , a light saline spray which keeps your nose membranes moist. When your cold is over it opens up. I also have dry sinus in the winter and I use Ocean for that as well, spraying a few times a day. I go with this brand because it is relatively inexpensive and well spoken of.

I have had endoscopic nasal surgery done by my ENT twice and now (knock on wood) with medications and this product I may only get a sinus infection once a yerar. Medication nasal sprays for allergies are a must but so is self care. I do a nasal irrigation of my sinuses every night and my doctor says it is this self care that has me so much better.
And this Sinuair powder is what I use for my nightly irrigation. I have a nasal spray bottle and I mix one spoonful of this powder with water for a gentle cleansing and moisturizing nasal wash. It is so soothing and takes very little time. Plus making this part of your daily regiment will keep the sinus infections away and keep your allergies at bay. I have purchased this powder from allergy sites and my doctor's office but this price here is an amazing good deal.
I think with allergies so rampant now that people forget self care is the primary resource to good heath. This product is recommended by leading ENT's and allergists. My nose says thank you every day and my health has been so much better. I just want to end by saying this powder is very gentle and soothing when used. It does not sting or cause any irritation. If you have allergies, sinus infections and headaches or a stuffy nose, this product is a must.

Although my doctor recommended a particular oral medication, when I got to the pharmacy I noticed nasal spray alternatives. I thought, "Why take a medication that passes through the stomach if not absolutely necessary?"
There are several types of Ayr Mist. I read the information on each box in order to determine my specific needs.
I would suggest you try this non-medicated, alcohol-free product before experimenting with anything else. By the way, the price on Amazon is half of what I paid in the store.

(More customer reviews)I found these indispensible when my little one got her first cold recently. The 5 mL is a little much for a baby, but it is a good dosage for general use. I especially liked being able to clearly see how much actually was dispensed. When they are struggling and interrupting you, you're sometimes left wondering if any came out at all. And I really liked not re-sticking something up her nose - gack, just gross.
I did not find the edges to be particularly sharp when I snapped the tip, but they are rigid so if your little one is really a fighter you may want to bear that in mind. I took the band-aid removal approach and squirted and ran to minimize how much time it was in her nose.
The capsules are very sturdy, so I have no worries about them leaking in a pocket.

She was waking up at night because of trouble breathing related to boogers. This has really helped her. I use it in the morning and evening. Much more frequently when she has a cold. She doesnt mind it too bad. This product is identical to the simply saline regular (which is not especially for babies) with the exception of a ridge around the nozzel which keeps you from inserting it too far. I was hoping it would have a soft rubber nozzel but it is the hard plastic.

I have used just about every steroid prescription spray, Astelin (anti-histamine nose spray, Afrin, Ocean Spray, a bunch of homeopathic sprays, Neti Pot and none of them have done what this spray has done for my sinus inflammation and slight congestion. I recently got a septoplasty and turbinate reduction done and I have always had this slight pressure, and very uncomfortable feeling in the middle of my nose since the surgery and until I found this spray I have been miserable for the past year. I would not recommend this spray for someone who has severe congestion and a sinus infection, for those unfortunate ones that have that I would recommend using a neti pot 4x a day with sea salt until the symptoms go away and then use the Simply Saline.

I've had several docs tell me that dry sinus passages contribute significantly to both conditions. They've suggested saline spray to keep my nose lubricated, particularly in the wintertime when heat is generally drying.
I've used Simply Saline spray for a number of years. The last time I picked up a bottle, I noticed the gel and decided to give it a try. The gel really does lubricate your nose and it lasts for quite a while.
I apply it by moistening a Q-tip with the gel and sticking the Q-tip up my nose. Sounds gross, but it works.
My only issue is that I wish they'd figure a way to get me a single dose of the gel.
