Just cross the words "design" in this book and write over "illustration" (or animation, advertising, or whichever commercial art occupation), and more than 95% of it works. It is because this book does not teach you the tricks and gimmicks, but teaches you the philosophy of the business of being a commercial artist.

I have twin newborns who are now 2 mths old and were born premature therefore had a lot of digestive problems and were very fussy. I have tried gas-x and the gripe water that my friends swear by but nothing seem to be much help until I tried this. It was instant relief and they loved the taste! This last a lot longer than the other medicines and I actually get to enjoy my babies without them fussing all the time! I have since recommended this to 2 of my friends and they have both come back and stated that they bought out all the store had on the shelf! It got so bad we had to go once a week to the doctor for medication and "prescribed" diaper creams...nothing worked. Got the Dr. Smiths idea from another mom....in 4 days her diaper rash cleared up and we were able to keep it at bay with Dr. Smiths. This is the best kept mommy secret ever. Due to the cost we only used Dr. Smiths when it looked like a diaper rash may start or in the summer for heat rash. I even found the product works great on my older children and myself for irritation, heat rash and other irritations. When I say this is Gold in a Jar....I'm not kidding!!! I know give this as a baby gift to all new mommies...never fails I get a call of thanks within the first 6 months and a "this stuff is great...I'm so glad you turned me on to Dr. Smiths!" (More customer reviews)My 2 yr old was diagnosed w/ "borderline iron-deficient anemia". My Dr prescribed Fer-In-Sol 6ml, 3x a day, for 6 weeks.
It has a slight taste, so my child was NOT fooled when I tried to hide it in foods, etc. I gave it directly in my childs mouth and then chased it w/orange juice (vitamin C promotes iron absorbtion). I also insisted on tooth-brushing after EVERY dosage to minimize staining of the teeth.
My childs teeth DID get a slight greyish tint to them. However, the discoloring went COMPLETELY away within 2 weeks after stopping the Fer-In-Sol.
My childs blood-level was normal after 6 weeks of taking this stuff.

At night we use a humidifier in the room, but you can't really lug a humidifier around. Anyway, the cheaper brands such as little noses, etc. apparently squirt too much or in a way that makes the baby really uncomfortable, because with other brands there's a lot of crying and wriggling involved. When we use the Baby Simply Saline, however, the baby stays still and even sighs with what seems to be relief. BIG difference.

(More customer reviews)This stuff is AWESOME. As a cloth-diapering mom, it is the ONLY diaper rash ointment I will use. With cloth diapers, all other diaper rash products containing zinc oxide also contain cod liver oil. Once cod liver oil gets into cloth diapers, it is a LOT of time and labor to get the fish smell out.
The zinc oxide in this product is not derived from cod liver oil and therefore leaves no residue and no odor in our diapers. I love the fact that I can pronounce all the ingredients and that there are no chemicals leaching into my daughter's skin. She doesn't get diaper rash often, but when she does it's terrible. This stuff clears it right up, while Desitin, A&D and even Boudreaux's Butt Paste never did.
