(More customer reviews)The first few chapters have some interesting information for high school students and college freshman who are thinking about becoming economics majors. Their are suggestions on what type of classes to take and some (not very complete) information about what kinds of jobs economics major can find.
The rest of the books gives 3-4 page summaries of different jobs. The summary are not written specifically for economics majors, they are obviously written for more than one book. Most of the descriptions are for jobs that would be more suitable to accounting majors. All of the information about these jobs is available for free on the burea of labor statistics website.
This book would be ok for someone just entering college, but is pretty much useless for an economics major who is entering the job market soon.
