(More customer reviews)I only have to take pills in the morning and night. So I didn't need a pill organizer designed to hold pills for 4 times a day like most pill organizers. Also the ones that hold pills for 4 times a day usually have smaller compartments. I like this AM / PM pill organizer because it has very large compartments which fit many pills, large and small, including vitamin and calcium pills.
I also like the locking feature. I've dropped my pill container several times and this has kept them safely in the days and times where they belong. I take 16 pills a day, some of them very tiny. Locating all the pills if the contents spilled is very difficult, if not almost impossible. Also, the locking feature is helpful when you travel. If you are going for less than 7 days, you can put all the pills you need in the organizer and place that in your bag without fear of losing the pills. There is no need to take all the pill bottles with you.
One drawback is shortly after I bought this the Thursday PM cover broke at the hinge. Due to the locking feature, it snaps into place and keeps the pills where they need to be. So I haven't replaced it. Also, it is a little difficult to put pills into the compartments if you are trying to do it one handed (pill in one hand, bottle in the other) because the covers do not stay open fully. If you have both hands available this isn't a problem because the covers will open up fully but need to be held in position.
