(More customer reviews)I originally purchased the Knee support for support - but there was an added benefit to me. My knees have been popping or cracking for over a year and the best answer I got after xrays is "Everything is fine and sometimes knees just do that," fine. After wearing the supports for about 2 weeks everyday to work, my left knee stopped popping and my right knee improved - still some popping, but not quite as bad as before using the knee support.
They will loosen and all you need to do is throw them in the laundry and dryer in order for them to return to it's original size.
One last thing, I throw the supports on when I go off-trail hiking and it adds extra protection against whatever it is I'm walking through.
