I am 29 years old and I had a very stubborn plantar's wart on the outer side of my right great toe for about a year. It's the only wart I have ever had in my entire life. I have no idea how I got it, but it was there and it was very aggravating and not very pleasant to look at. I'm an avid runner and it was starting to become too painful to run since this wart would rub up against my shoe, even if I put a bandage over it. It was just very uncomfortable and beyond frustrating. I finally decided to try this Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away kit to see if it would help get rid of my wart. I followed the instructions and used it exactly as directed for a week. NOTHING HAPPENED! In fact, after using it for a couple of days, the wart looked like it grew even bigger! I thought that maybe I just needed to use it for a bit longer because my wart looked like it was pretty deep and I thought that it might require multiple treatments, so I went out and bought another one of these Freeze Away kits after I finished up with the first one. I used this one for 7 days as well, for a total of 2 weeks of using this product. Still nothing. The wart was still there and it looked exactly the same as it always had. This stuff didn't even remotely help, not even a tiny bit. Please don't waste your time and money on this stuff. It's nothing but junk. I could have put peanut butter on my wart and would have gotten the same results. After doing extensive online research on wart removal, I discovered that apple cider vinegar works wonders for all types of warts. I was kind of skeptical at first, but I was also so desperate to get rid of this thing once and for all, so I gave it a try since I had nothing to lose. I soaked a cotton ball in the apple cider vinegar, put it on top of my wart, and then secured it in place with a band-aid and left it on all night. I did this every night for a week and my wart is now finally 100% gone! All it took was some apple cider vinegar (which costs less than $2 for a huge bottle), a bag of cotton balls, and a box of band-aids and my wart came right off after a week of doing this and my toe finally looks normal again! I now have nice and healthy, pink skin growing where the wart once was. The apple cider vinegar method will hurt like crazy the first few times you use it, but that just means it's working and is killing the blood vessels that were keeping the wart alive. I actually had to take ibuprofen because it stung so badly, but it was totally worth the pain and, best of all, it was extremely cheap, fast, and easy. I'm just kicking myself because I didn't discover this method until just a couple of weeks ago. I've had apple cider vinegar sitting in my pantry the entire year I was dealing with this wart! At least it's gone now, no thanks to Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away!
The bottom line is that Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away simply does not work! Please try the apple cider vinegar method instead! I promise you won't be disappointed! I am absolutely ecstatic with the quick, awesome results I had with it!
