(More customer reviews)I ordered this product in a size larger than suggested by the manufacturer, and I was glad I did. Even though it is billed by the manufacturer as fitting a thigh 3-7 inches larger than mine, it feels snug. For those who are allergic to latex, beware that this product contains latex. There is no metal in this brace--it is entirely made of fabric. The fabric, however, is not terribly breathable, and it will make you sweat. This is a very thick, heavy brace and it can make its presence annoyingly known as you try to exercise, whether lifting weights, walking, or more active sports. However, if you have a strained muscle, it can make it possible to do light exercise that you might not otherwise be able to do, and the heat it generates in your muscles can help speed healing.
