(More customer reviews)I've been wanting one of these for awhile, but I felt like they were over-priced. Amazon had this on sale at a price I just couldn't pass up, about five bucks. So the scent is definately strong, but it's a nice strong and feels very therapeutic and relaxing. The black cover is soft and velveety feeling, actually much nicer than some similar pacs I've seen for much more money. It's easy to use and stays warm for as long as I need it. I keep it in a big ziploc bag so it retains it's herbal scent and properties.
I just wish I had bought a few more for gifts.

(More customer reviews)I can see JC obviously loves the neck wrap. Strange that it got only one star. Based upon what they said, "Everything I hoped for" would surely deserve more than one star. I gave it 5 stars because my husband took mine and won't give it back. So I had to buy another one. I don't know what that fabric is called but I wish I had a whole blanket made out of it. Well, then I would have to have it lined with the herbs because I love that smell. I see the booties on the site, so that will probably be what I get next.

Carex Bed Buddy Sinus Pack Review

(More customer reviews)I have used this product for my sinus, tension and migraine headaches for more than a year, and it's my go-to product, in combination with painkillers.
I have only used it hot, and it heats up quickly in the microwave (45 seconds) and remains hot for 15-30 minutes. The heat is a "moist" heat, which is helpful during sinus headaches. I appreciate the size and shape, as it's easy to use on my forehead, cheeks/nose (for sinus problems) or the back of my neck. (The instructions say to not use it over the eyes when hot, though sometimes I do this when the pack has cooled off a little.)
Another commenter mentioned an offputting smell. I haven't noticed anything like that, even with my sensitivity to smells during a migraine attack.
To me, the only improvement I would suggest is a nicer fabric as the cover--fleece seems like it would be a comfortable choice. I would also suggest a discounted 2-pack, so that I could leave one in the freezer.

The aroma that comes off it when I take it out of the microwave is definitely heaven. I have been using it for several months now and it still smells great. I just love it.

(More customer reviews)The wrap is partially-filled and the baffling is poor, meaning that you can shake down the seeds to one side and have empty fabric for OVER HALF of the length of the wrap. Since the seeds carry the heat/cold, I end up having to constantly readjust and fold it over. I am sewing the ends and the neckline to try and keep the seeds together. If I had been able to see it first, I would not have purchased it.

I have Fibromyalgia, arthritis and a very painful, degenerative autoimmune disease, so I am always looking for things that make me feel better and ease my pain. These sure do the trick! Not only do these keep your feet warm and ease away any aches and pains in your feet, but somehow having that heat directly on the bottom of your feet eases pain in other areas of your body and just totally relaxes you. My theory is that because there are pressure points in your feet that correspond with every area of your body, that the heat somehow eases pain in those parts too. Maybe it is the herbal blend that is in the booties. All I know for sure is that they work!! I highly recommend them to anyone who gets cold feet during the winter, anyone who has tired, achy feet and definitely anyone who has any type of pain condition. The price is very reasonable so you can't really go wrong! I do want to mention that these booties are meant to be used sitting down. YOU CANNOT WALK IN THEM! So if you are looking for slippers, these are not for you.

Carex Bed Buddy Hot/Cold Pack Review

(More customer reviews)I don't know if things could go better any than this. A lot of times you order a product and try it- just to be disappointed. Not the case here. It is what it says and it does what it says- no if, ands, or butts.
The bed buddy comes wrapped up, and once you unfold it, its ready for use- no assembly required. My son grabbed it and immediately popped it in the microwave for one and a half minutes, slung it around his neck, and I've had trouble getting it back since!
As you can see, its really quick and easy to use. Unlike some hot packs, this one gets hot, and stays that way. I haven't timed it yet, but its a good payout for the short 1.5 minutes you stick it in the microwave.
And its soft too- so you can totally take it to bed with you without worrying about it scratching you or becoming uncomfortable. Perhaps its best feature is the two rings on either end- they're sturdy and can take some pullin'. These two rings make it VERY easy to place the pack where you want it. So if you have shoulder issues, you'll have no trouble slinging this thing around your neck. mid-back, low back, or where ever you need some heat.
Yes, I really like this product and will use it for a long time to come. After a day at the office, my neck can get sore and stressed out, and this little pack is just what I need- and I can use it within several minutes of walking in the door! Great for my low back too. (More customer reviews)We have been using Bed Buddies for years (both the back wrap and shoulder/neck version), and like them a lot. They really do deliver prolonged moist heat and relieve sore, tense muscles. The Velcro closures make them especially convenient to use.
Our Bed Buddies were getting pretty tattered, so I ordered a couple of new ones. This time, though, they have a chemical smell that I can't remedy - I've tried airing them for days in the sun, storing them with baking soda sachets...nothing works. I don't want them in my microwave oven, where we cook food - so we continue to use the old ones, not the new ones. It's been a big disappointment.
