When you take a swig of this it feels like a heat bomb is going off in your upper chest and the coughing just stops while your face cringes and contorts in amusing ways for those around you.

(More customer reviews)I am vulnerable to severe coughs following any viral infection. These lozenges will not stop actual productive coughs, but the soothing quality of the phenol is the only thing that helps relieve my incessant coughing from throat irritation- other than cough medicine with codeine, of course. They are also very much better than any other lozenge for sore throats. I find all other throat lozenges to be the equivalent of hard candy compared to Cepastat, which have an actual beneficial effect. Also, these have no sugar, and I can actually use them while falling asleep, which helps a lot. (I sleep on my stomach, I would NEVER recommend using a hard lozenge if you sleep on your back or side. That would risk choking.) I GREATLY prefer the flavor of these to the menthol/eucalyptus version, which I find quite distasteful. I highly recommend trying them.

(More customer reviews)The original Han's Honey Loquat is amazing hence the five star review. HOWEVER - they recently made a change to the formula and the #1 ingredient is soy and no longer honey. The one advertised here is the original, but I understand that is being replaced. I bought out our health food store of the old formula and will no longer buy it if it contains soy. Make sure the one you receive DOES NOT have soy!

(More customer reviews)I used to use Slippery Elm lozenges when I was singing years ago to improve my voice. I've had a nagging dry cough (cause undiagnosed), so I thought I'd try these again, and they worked. My doctor remains skeptical, but many doctors tend to discount natural cures. I'm still trying to figure out the cause of the cough, but in the interim these lozenges definitely brought some relief. They're great for a dry throat. However, I've never had any luck using them to treat a sore throat, which some have claimed they can do.

I was just going to get the six pack of inexpensive Halls, but I saw these and thought that I'd give it a chance. They worked so great. I sore throat was mostly gone within like two hours. All cough drops should work like these. They don't have that crappy taste that most cough drops have either.

Every time drs have prescribed prednisolone which is used for asthma patients. Prednisolone is a narcotic and giving to young child is not good. I went to chinese herbalogist and this was one of the medicines prescribed for my child. So far my kid has been asthma/bronchiolitis/airway decease free. I would recomend this product for cold and flu.

I prefer the unflavored ones, but the last several times I've ordered them (fulfilled by [...]), I've gotten the chocolate mint ones. As far as I'm concerned, they still work fine, but my wife will only take the unflavored ones, so she isn't happy I can't get these unflavored tablets.

Sucrets Lozenges Complete Vapor Cherry 18-Count Review

(More customer reviews)We normally buy Halls Mentho-Lyptus & like them pretty well but I had a coupon and these were on sale so we purchased the Sucrets Complete. I put these in our diaper bag so my husband and I would always have them with us while we were out and about as opposed to carrying individual Halls in our pockets and having them melt.
Both of us had been sick and using Halls at home to help my husbands cough/sore throat & my sore throat. We finally tried these while we were in the car.
Within a minute I started getting relief from my sore throat and it didn't taste bad either. As with every cough drop I've ever tried it is impossible to get every bit of sore throat so I still had some minor sore throat but it was definately much better & worked faster & better than Halls for my sore throat. I kept it on my tongue while it was in my mouth and my tongue went numb which I don't like so if you hate that feeling too then I recommend keeping this between your cheek & teeth most of the time.
My husbands cough got better after this and it helped his sore throat as well. Im not sure if these or Halls work better for cough.
That was a couple of weeks ago, my sore throat went away and a few days ago I started getting another sore throat that has gotten really bad. To give you an idea of the pain I have when I swallow, I would rather swallow sand paper, tacks, rocks...you get the idea..as opposed to having my current sore throat pain. I've tried some cold medicine that has sore throat listed on the bottle and it really didn't do anything. I've tried Halls & it didn't do anything. The Sucrets have been able to releive some of the pain, it still hurts but is definately better after a Sucrets.
I'm sure right now I have something more than just a cold but if you have just a cold or flu I think these work really well for a sore throat and help for anything more serious.

(More customer reviews)I have been using these for many years and I always have them stocked in case of an impending cold. When taken at the first signs of a cold (a little stuffy or a dry scrathy throat) these are tops.
I have found that at times my *impending* cold never materializes (A HUGE plus). You do need to take these every few hours from the first sign of illness for them to be effective so keeping some in stock is important. They don't seem to work once you have a *full-blown* cold but supposedly they will lessen the severity.
I do wish that they were sugar free. These days I try not to eat sugar in any form and so eating these gives me a bit of pause. But I have to say that they have worked so well for me for the years that I take them, that I just keep doing it...sugar or no sugar. I find the taste to be fair. Definitely tolerable altho my son will not eat them, he thinks they are not very good.
In general I do find these to be a bit on the expensive side but I can't argue witht he results I have gotten. Any cold I do not get makes the price well worth it!

(More customer reviews)This throat spray helps a lot. When I get sick I try not to take medications that dry out my vocal chords. With a combination of irrigating, gargling, getting in fluids, resting, taking throat lozenges and using this throat spray, my throat stays moist. Doesn't last all day but I do feel it immediately when I spray.
I just wish they sold it in bigger bottles.
