(More customer reviews)I have acid reflux, GERD, and have been on the prescription "Purple Pills" since they first came out more than 10-15 years ago. But every now and then, I eat too much too late, and the burning starts (heart burn!). My favorite immediate solution for this is Maalox chewables - especially the wild berry flavored ones. The problem is, the local stores around me stopped stocking this flavor, so I turned to Amazon, and sure enough, they stock them! Complete with free shipping when the order is over the twenty-five dollar amount. GOOD deal, and much cheaper than buying locally. My order of Maalox Multi Symptom Antacid & Antigas Chewable Tablets, Maximum Strength, Wild Berry, 65-Count Plastic Bottles (Pack of 4) came quick, and without any issues.
I'm not a doctor, so if you have problems with acid reflux that are re-occurring, then see a doctor!

(More customer reviews)My doctor put me on Prilosec OTC for my hiatal hernia and heartburn. It worked for awhile but then I starting getting frequent stomach aches. Enter Zegerid! Though it contains the same ingredient (Omperazole 20mg/Acid Reducer) as Prilosec OTC, it contains one extra ingredient which makes it much more effective. Zegerid contains 1100mg of Sodium Bicarbonate which allows for better absorption of the Omeprazole by preventing your stomach acid from desolving it before it can go to work. I've also tried Pepcid AC, Prevacid, Pepto Bismol, you name it....and have found Zegerid to be the best heartburn fighter on the market today.

This product allows you to have your life back if you have suffered the painful effects of acid reflux (mostly in the middle of the night). Ranitidine is the active ingredient in most name brand products such as Zantac and Pepcid AC (I think I'm correct here), but this product is a generic. It is the same thing only much much less expensive. I take one every night at bedtime and don't have to worry about it. If I were to eat a triple bacon and sausage pizza right before bedtime, I might take two. Guys, when you turn 30 years old, this product becomes a necessity. Be sure to get some before you turn 30 cause I'm telling you on your 30th birthday you will wish you had. Especially if you like to eat meat.
I've tried them all and this is the same medicine, but the very cheapest way you can buy it. For 20 bucks a year, you will be able to eat anything you want. If you have acid reflux, get this.

(More customer reviews)This is one of the top money-making drugs of all time, and for good reason. It works. I used to have pretty bad acid reflux. I would chew Pepcid Complete (which is an antacid drug combined with a base to neutralize acid) after every meal, as if they were after-dinner mints. Now, I just take Prilosec once a day, and now I almost never suffer from heartburn, and when I do, it is not as bad as it used to be. Trust me on this. This drug works differently than Pepcid or Zantac (I have a Ph.D in biology), so if those drugs don't work for you, don't be afraid to give this a try.
