(More customer reviews)My husband and I are both long distance runners and are in our 50s. We use Biofreeze with Ilex for mild and more serious pains and strains. I also use the roll-on version on the back of my neck and temple when I get migraines; the cooling helps tremendously. My mother uses it for severe arthritis in her hands, and my father uses it for back pain. I recently ordered some for my mother-in-law for hip pain. She called raving about how much it helped her and my father-in-law. Its a fabulous product that I recommend for many purposes.

(More customer reviews)My mother used Perform to relieve severe leg and buttocks cramps due to her near immobility. I didn't pay much attention when she would sing the praises of this product as I had never had the need for an analgesic. Lo and behold, as the kinks and spasms began visiting my back and legs, I tried several products, ice bags, muscle relaxers, pain meds. Then I remembered mom's advice and found Perform online. The ball makes it easy to massage into the knotted muscles and much less messy than those you have to rub on. I've been using it for the past couple of years and would recommend it to anyone suffering from muscle pain or spasms.

BIOFREEZE Pain Relieving Spray with ILEX Review

(More customer reviews)Biofreeze spray gel works almost as well as the original Biofreeze green jelly. The spray gel has the advantages of (1) not being green, so it doesn't stain clothing; and (2) being able to be applied anywhere you can spray, including the area between your shoulder blades.
If hubby is home to Biofreeze my back, I still prefer the original Biofreeze green jelly. It works a little better, lasts a little longer, and doesn't smell as much. The only downside to the jelly is it will leave green marks on light colored clothing if you're not careful. The green washes out in the laundry, but who wants to go around with green smears on a white shirt?
Both the Biofreeze spray gel and the original Biofreeze are way better than the drugstore stuff like Ben-Gay. They work better, last longer, are "cool" rather than hot, and don't smell as bad. The original Biofreeze has almost no smell at all. The spray gel has a stronger scent, but it's still not as noticeable as Ben-Gay.
