(More customer reviews)I just came back from a scuba diving trip in Southeast Asia. I normally take Dramamine before the boat ride out to the dive site. This time, I decided to try the Hylands. I was a bit apprehensive, but I decided to take the chance. I didn't like the side effects of Dramamine, because even their "less drowsy" version did not keep me from dozing off.
I took 3 of the Hyland tablets 30 minutes before the boat ride.
The trip out to the dive site was great. I did not feel nauseated or dizzy at all. When the boat reached the site and dropped anchor, it started to rock. I did feel a bit dizzy, but that feeling passed when I got into the water. I felt fine during the "underwater excursion". It was when I broke the surface of the water I then felt a bit dizzy. I floated on my back and the dizziness went away. When I floated upright the dizziness slowly came back. Climbing into the boat and getting the gear stowed was not a problem. Even the trip back was fine.
All in all, I feel the product worked as advertised. For the price, it is worth trying out especially for its homeopathic properties.

Marezine for Motion Sickness, Tablets - 12 ea Review

(More customer reviews)I haven't found a better solution than marezine for motion sickness. I only take 1 pill at a time b/c it can cause sleepiness in some people. Other than that- there's nothing to worry about. Great solution for cruises and off shore fising.

(More customer reviews)I got back from a trip to Catalina, unfortunately I'm still rockin and rolling.
And not really in a good way. Anniversary of Woodstock or no, the truth is we can't handle much even at top dollar. No mud rolling compares to the pitch and churn of a boat. However. It was a lovely place, I've never been there. An hour boat ride out on the Catalina Express and hour back. We all took this, mostly all, to get ready to go to the island as our last whale watching trip "did not go well."
It probably helped. Probably a lot. No one got sick throwing up.
Of course back home, one child has a fever and her stiff neck, another I think the effects of severe dehydration (he went to an Angels game first) but for the actual boat ride this probably did the trick. You don't know exactly because if you don't take it then, it's too late. We took it an hour head of going. It might be uncool but as I repeatedly stated, so is yopping.
Tiny pills, you can easily put this into a purse, backpack, just be really careful if you have little ones as the container looks like lip gloss.
Actually my son didn't take it coming back and in the car ride home was doubled over...maybe that was connected. Hum. So I think something this small, easy to carry is a great idea if you think being on a boat might send you heaving. I rode on several yesterday, touring reefs and seeing an island so I was mighty glad to have it. But I am rockin now and it isn't with the music.

I was very concerned that our trip would be ruined by my doubly bad set of circumstances but these bands saved the day! They kept me feeling great all 5 days of the cruise.
