My daughter had such bad diaper rash that she had sores on her bottom. We tried EVERYTHING!!!! It got so bad we had to go once a week to the doctor for medication and "prescribed" diaper creams...nothing worked. Got the Dr. Smiths idea from another mom....in 4 days her diaper rash cleared up and we were able to keep it at bay with Dr. Smiths. This is the best kept mommy secret ever. Due to the cost we only used Dr. Smiths when it looked like a diaper rash may start or in the summer for heat rash. I even found the product works great on my older children and myself for irritation, heat rash and other irritations. When I say this is Gold in a Jar....I'm not kidding!!! I know give this as a baby gift to all new mommies...never fails I get a call of thanks within the first 6 months and a "this stuff is great...I'm so glad you turned me on to Dr. Smiths!" No need for Dr. Smiths "rash" care...this is it!!!!! Good luck and Happy bottoms!

Aveeno Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Fragrance Free, 3.7-Ounce Tube Review

Aveeno Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Fragrance Free, 3.7-Ounce Tube

This stuff is AWESOME. As a cloth-diapering mom, it is the ONLY diaper rash ointment I will use. With cloth diapers, all other diaper rash products containing zinc oxide also contain cod liver oil. Once cod liver oil gets into cloth diapers, it is a LOT of time and labor to get the fish smell out.
The zinc oxide in this product is not derived from cod liver oil and therefore leaves no residue and no odor in our diapers. I love the fact that I can pronounce all the ingredients and that there are no chemicals leaching into my daughter's skin. She doesn't get diaper rash often, but when she does it's terrible. This stuff clears it right up, while Desitin, A&D and even Boudreaux's Butt Paste never did.

I was introduced to this when my first baby was born in 2008. It has been a booty saver! Just slather some on at night and by morning time the diaper rash is almost if not all the way gone. I keep one in my diaper bag and one by the changing table.

This is the best diaper rash cream we have found. Bought it from the drug store after someone at the daycare recommended it. Worked great, then couldn't find it anymore in the store. Started ordering it online, and what better place than amazon. With Subscribe and Save and Amazon Mom, save 30%, you can't beat it.

Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for Diaper Rash Review

Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for Diaper Rash
Average Reviews:

All zinc oxide creams for diaper rash have the same active ingredient in approximately the same concentration. The difference lies in how well it stays on your baby's skin. Triple Paste is a thick paste that, while easy to apply, actually stays on the skin. All other diaper rash creams end up on the diaper, not on the skin, because they wipe off so easily.
This cream is a lifesaver. Triple Paste, along with original A+D Ointment, are all you need at your changing table. I use original A+D Ointment at bedtime as a preventative and Triple Paste if a rash actually develops. If Triple Paste doesn't clear it up, there's probably yeast present and you'll need to consult your doctor.
I received this at my baby shower and it was a fabulous gift!

Avalon Organic Botanicals Baby A, D & E Ointment Protective Review

Avalon Organic Botanicals Baby A, D and E Ointment Protective
Average Reviews:

This ointment is wonderful! I started using it just as a protectant before diapering at bedtime and have used it ever since. I've also used it if baby's bottom has gotten a little irritated. I use cloth diapers and it has worked well with these without causing a repellant effect like most diaper creams. It's also great for any other dry or irritated areas on baby. Texture is smooth and doesn't leave skin greasy.
