(More customer reviews)Well, I'm proud to be the first to review this product. I'm a paraplegic, T-11 complete paralyzed. At T-11 or below, bowel management can be a huge problem. Huge. I try various products to assist in stool removal. Not the most pleasant of subjects, but that's why there is Ducolax. The other similar product I use is the Magic Bullet, which is the same ingredient in a water-based solid (Ducolax is vegatable oil based). Magic Bullet claims faster absorption than Ducolax because it is water based. HOWEVER, in my many months of undocumented and haphazard testing, I have found Ducolax to be superior every time. The only disadvantage I found was the price, where Ducolax purchased at the corner Rite Aid was running about $2-3 PER suppository. That's $3 to go. I found Magic Bullet online in bulk (a sad commentory on my life) for $1 each in lots of 50. But now that Amazon makes Ducolax available for under $1 each as well, in my opinion Ducolax is the better purchase and the superior product.
