Support is solid and rigid, so I have another wrist brace that is all neoprene that I use for softball, tennis and other times when I need more flexibility. Cleans nicely in washer with provided bag.

(More customer reviews)This item is poorly made. I threw it out after trying to get it to fit snuggly around my thumb and hand several times. It just gaps where it should be snug no matter what you do.
A much superior product is offered from FLA Orthopedics, also on Amazon (do a search). In fact I should have went with them to start since their ankle supports are excellent. Try them instead of these folks.

(More customer reviews)I have made my living at a computer for more than 15 years and have paid with severe tendinitis and arthritis. When I found these gloves a year and a half ago I was nearly at wits end. They are a life saver. The padding and support are perfect. I can work without pain, and if I foolishly work without them - when I put them back on the support quickly helps me heal. I am not sure I could live without these gloves anymore. I have a pair for home and a pair that I carry in my laptop bag whenever I travel. (1 pair lasts me about a year, but that is with heavy use).
I highly recommend not just for those with injuries, but as a means of prevention as well. (the gloves with the thumb support work great as well, but take a little getting used to)

(More customer reviews)These are the wraps I used when I had my wrist problem as a meat cutter, They are light weight compact and worked great under a waterproof glove. Now Im retired, but I found it and washed it and used it last year with I had wrist issues from my computer key board, after both my wrists started to hurt In FEB 2009 I got 2 of them instead of going to the DR. I was so amazed at how warm they keep the wrist muscles and how easy they are to wear and put on and take off. The original one lasted me for many years of wear, the thumb thing got a bit thin so I needed a new one. These can be washed in the sink with warm soapy water and hang to dry, you will not be dissappointed

The only downside is that it isn't the coolest thing. Your hand does sweat in it if you get warm. But it is washable and seems to be wearing well.
