(More customer reviews)This is very helpful for children with lactose intolerence. While my daughter can still only eat/drink lactose free products, this helps with incidental milk products in other things she may eat. It does not however let her eat anything she wants. She has been intolerant since switching to milk at age 1 and this product has really helped. She likes the taste and I feel comfortable occasionally giving her 2 a day. I would have given it 5 stars but I didn't want everyone to think it is a cure all but it is a big help.

I usually eat between one and three with my first bites of dairy, occasionally I've made a mistake and taken after, never have had a problem, knock on wood -
funny thing, I live on a dairy farm, and I can drink our raw milk just fine. I need lactaid to eat our aged cheeses and pasteurized milk. I have not tried raw milk ice cream, and our yogurt is fine for me, all yogurt is fine for me ...
I'm delighted I can buy this through Amazon, hard to get locally ...

(More customer reviews)These Lactaid tablets work well to prevent lactose intolerance induced disasters. The tablets are packaged in a way that is easy to carry around in your bag, pocket or other portable methods.
I can finally enjoy foods with dairy again. I suggest taking one right before your first bite of foods with dairy and then having another in the middle of eating dairy if it is a good amount of food or you have been eating for a while. I'm very cautious so I like to be on the safe side I guess.
The tablets are composed of lactase, a naturally made enzyme that people with lactose intolerance lack, so there shouldn't be any side effects to taking "too many" tablets. I would just use common sense and experiment with how many tablets to take when eating various dairy products.

(More customer reviews)After suffering from bloating and gas in the evenings, I decided to give this a try. I was tired of feeling sickly, and miserable every night. I started taking it with my evening meal. This product has worked wonders for me! It took about 2-3 weeks before I noticed a difference, but I no longer feel bloated or gassy in the evenings, and have even been able to indulge in beans on occasion, without the awful side effects I once had. I should mention that I also take medication for an under active thyroid, am female, age 46. I noticed no side affects whatsoever. I have been taking it for about a month and a half now, am thrilled with the results, and will continue buying this product.
Also, I noticed on this site it says for adults to take two capsules twice a day with meals, but on the actual bottle it says take one capsule daily with a meal, which is what I do.
