(More customer reviews)All I can say is THESE ARE AWESOME. I get canker sores a few times a year, and the constant irritation and pain make me turn into a grouchy monster! I have tried everything over the years... salt water, oragel type stuff, even mouthwash for canker sores... sometimes these things give relief for a few minutes or an hour, but it always comes back.
Canker cover is the first product I have used that actually completely gets rid of the pain and also helps heal. They don't last as long or work as fast as the package say... I usually have to use the covers for more than 24 hours before the sore is completely gone, but after 1 day you can tell it is WAY less painful and recovering.
The best part is just wearing them -- they are like little pillows over your canker sores. You can eat chips, spicy food -- whatever -- and feel absolutely nothing. The covers stick pretty well and don't come off accidentally.
Yes, they are pricey- but as soon as I feel a canker sore I grab one of these and dot it on. It is WORTH EVERY PENNY! Also, just FYI... it always burns me for the first 2-3 minutes or so, but then you get 4-5 hours of NO PAIN so I deal with it.

A few days ago I got one on my tongue which is so much worse. Hard to talk and eat. First time I felt the need to buy over the counter pain medicine for it. I bought Zilactin-b and Canker Melts with little to no relief. But then I found this and which really does help numb the area and for the first time in days I can eat without cringing! It has 20% benzocaine where others have 10%. BIG difference.

And don't ingest any! Then let that Bactine do its work. Your pain should diminish and your lip sore should heal much faster. And you didn't have to pay over $15 for a one time dose of Viroxyn (a cotton ball's worth). But, check your facts! Look up both Viroxyn and Bactine online and see for yourself! Also, you might want to augment your treatment with a zinc-based cold sore ointment too (I think Bactine may have an ointment like that).
