(More customer reviews)I have taken 2 regimens of Amberen and I am amazed at the success of the product on my hot flashes. We are talking a half dozen flashes at night and easily twice that during the day. (burning body, sweat drippping down my forehead and cheeks--and I do mean dripping!) I could not believe it , but Amberen brought me relief!! Total relief! All flashes--GONE! I took it for 3 months and was 2 months off and went on again as the flashes returned. I am about to enter my off period and I do hope that it lasts longer than 2 months because I am a healthy woman otherwise and not a "pill popper". I have no other annoying meno-symptoms, so I would rather not take anything. It is an amazing product.
My only complaint and why I did not give Amberen 5 stars is the price. I think it's pretty expensive. But my oh my, the relief it brings is priceless!

(More customer reviews)I was really excited to get one of these, as I've been suffering through the never ending menopause. The Chillow works, in that, it has a nice, cool surface. It very much cools me down when I first lie down on it. However, these are the negatives.
-It's bulky and heavy and very hard to get situated. It's so heavy, in fact, that it squishes my pillows down too flat.
- If you put it inside a pillow case (atop a pillow) it won't stay in place. If you use it outside the pillow, well, you're lying on plastic -- which just made me sweat.
- it got very very warm during the night. Not just "no longer cool", but nearly what I'd call HOT.I awoke with the sensation of lying on a heating pad.
-the pad bunches up inside the plastic case. I've only had it 1 1/2 weeks.
-the smell has faded some, but there is still a strong plastic smell. Heck, I smell like plastic after I wake up!!
So really, I found it useful to help get to sleep, but when I woke up during the night, (sometimes after only 2 hours) I was lying on a hot, wrinkly, heavy lump of soggy plastic. I'll take the hot flashes, thanks anyway.
