I have been taking this product for one month and have lost 22 lbs. I have not felt jitters or nausea but do notice a uptick in hyperactivity. Don't be surprised if people start asking you to slow down when you talk or just plain shut up :) The reason I picked this up was honestly...the commercials. Yes I should've done research, and checked with my doctor, but I didn't . What got me was the woman showing her mediocre weight loss compared to the dramatic change in her husband. My husband and I were eating the same food, doing the same workouts together, yet he lost twice as much weight the first month. I'm willing to accept hormonal differences, and body mass differences, etc, etc, but my husband is also 20 years older than me so I figured I would get SOME edge. Nope! So I gave slimquick a try.
The most important factors to NOT feeling sickly with this is to take it WITH food and drink lots of water throughout the day. Even a small piece of fruit is enough. I took this once with no food at all and felt like i wanted to vomit and pass out. Also water is so important because you want the diuretic to take effect. I've heard people say they don't drink lots of water because they have issues with water retention. WRONG! You want to drink water so you can flush all that your body is hanging onto out. Between the slimquick pills and 1-2 liters of water a day, I can testify that you will be doing the opposite of retaining water.
During this time I had to change my eating habits and start exercising. I have had success with weight watchers in the past so I am using their points system. I exercise on the treadmill 3-4 times a week, but only for 30 minutes. I really push during the 30 minutes but it's such a short time that I can't make any excuses. In the past I've lost 10-12 lbs in the first month with weight watchers and exercise alone. Adding slimquick helped me double that number.
I recommend slimquick as an AID to your other weight loss efforts. Bottom line is losing the weight is never as fun as gaining it was, but you have to make that choice. I don't believe slimquick on its own allows you to eat anything and not move at all and still lose weight. But if you're doing your part, and truly pushing yourself, slimquick will reward you for your efforts.
