(More customer reviews)For 4 days I took the maximum recommended dosage of 3 tablets per day and drank a great deal of water, as per the instructions on the bottle. The Ultimate Gout Formula had absolutely NO EFFECT at all on my gout flareup. I cannot recommend this product.
UPDATE (6/15/2011): My Gout attack began on May 31. I tried treating it with the natural products I had purchased on Amazon: The Ultimate Gout Formula, Goutrin, Michelle's Miracle Cherrimax, and Cherry Fruit Extract. None of them had any effect at all. Goutrin had been effective in the past but now the ingredients have changed and it is mainly a Vitamin C tablet.
Finally, on June 12, I went to the doctor and got a prescription for Indomethecin. The improvement began almost immediately. I have been taking it for four days now and my Gout is completely cleared up. The side effects are that my vision is blurry at times and I am virtually living in the bathroom.
I wish that these natural products could help in a major Gout flareup. I have tried them all. I have now come to the conclusion that the only sure way to handle Gout is to go to the doctor as soon as it flares up, get the prescription medication, take it, put up with the side effects, and knock it out as soon as possible.
