The medication worked, but did not fix my core problems. Add to that, they had nasty side effects. After some research, and seeing a medical doctor who recommended it, I came to buy slippery elm bark (SEB).
I purchased this specific brand from Swanson. When I called to place my order, they are recommended several other things I could take. The price is low, so the product is very affordable. It contains nothing else, other than gelatin ( for the capsule). This specific product is meant to be taken orally because of its consistency, but many other forms are available. The pills are small and easy to swallow, and the bottle comes with clear nutritional and dosage information.
After three months of taking the products, my symptoms not only receded, but it also corrected my GI problems- too gross to mention here. Although I no longer take the product regularly, I highly recommend considering it to people with GI problems. It did wonders for me. Please consult your physician first.
