(More customer reviews)Lactose causes diarrhea. This product contains an ingredient that approximately 25% of all Americans bear some sensitivity to. The company that supplies the loperimide formulation for close to 100% of all store brands includes LACTOSE in all those products EXCEPT THEIR OWN. Do not let anyone tell you "there cant be that much lactose in there to bother your stomach". There can, and there is. And yes LACTOSE was included in the original formulation of Imodium, which stopped when store brands became common, can you guess why?
So check the ingredients before you buy, you may find that diarrhea is not okay at any discounted price.
