(More customer reviews)I was told to use this b/c of my anterior tarsal tunnel problems in both feet. I felt no relief after applying the cream, however three hours later I had put my shoes and socks on and went out. My feet began to sweat at some point and my feet felt like they were on fire. I had to go into the bath room and wash my feet in the sink with ice cold water then leave my socks off and hurry home. The 2nd time I used it I took a bath 7 hours after applying it and again the horrible burning was too much for me to put me feet into the tub and get out. I had to lay on my back and drain the tub before I could get up. Zostrix does not go well with water, given that feet sweat I wonder why they would suggest you use it on your feet.

I also use the roll-on version on the back of my neck and temple when I get migraines; the cooling helps tremendously. My mother uses it for severe arthritis in her hands, and my father uses it for back pain. I recently ordered some for my mother-in-law for hip pain. (More customer reviews)Biofreeze spray gel works almost as well as the original Biofreeze green jelly. The spray gel has the advantages of (1) not being green, so it doesn't stain clothing; and (2) being able to be applied anywhere you can spray, including the area between your shoulder blades.
If hubby is home to Biofreeze my back, I still prefer the original Biofreeze green jelly. It works a little better, lasts a little longer, and doesn't smell as much. The only downside to the jelly is it will leave green marks on light colored clothing if you're not careful. The green washes out in the laundry, but who wants to go around with green smears on a white shirt?
Both the Biofreeze spray gel and the original Biofreeze are way better than the drugstore stuff like Ben-Gay. They work better, last longer, are "cool" rather than hot, and don't smell as bad. The original Biofreeze has almost no smell at all. The spray gel has a stronger scent, but it's still not as noticeable as Ben-Gay.

Penetrex contains all great ingredients (I have been allergic to most), and I just can't believe I found a product that alleviates my torso pain, so that I can breathe without pain all the time. If you're in pain, please do yourself a favor and try it ... I really put a good layer on it (only used two-thirds of a jar so far ... it goes a long way), and I can feel it working its way through my skin into my bones. Glad I got a reminder to leave a review ... I need to order two more jars! This stuff is a miracle for me! I have wasted so much money on other products ... I purchased several other types on Amazon at the same time ... I returned them and will order more Penetrex! Even if you're not a chronic pain patient, this would be awesome for sore muscles, shoulders, anything! Thanks for a great product! If you ever come up with a shake I can drink, I'll buy that too! I am so happy with this product, I still can't believe how much it helps me!

(More customer reviews)I've heard a lot about this product so I thought I'd give the roll-on bottle a try- and boy does it live up to its name!
Biofreeze is a form of cryotherapy, which basically means cold therapy. It contains a natural menthol, so I feel like its a pretty safe product to use. I'm guessing this product works by stimulating the large diameter nerves that carry the cool sensation- thereby blocking pain which is carried on small diameter nerves. Other forms of (cryo)therapy that use this principle include TENS units, spray and stretch, and plain old ice.
I consider useful Biofreeze Gel 3 Oz. ROLL-ON - 3 PACK- minor aches and pains that we all get now and then, although if you have a consistent problem, it would probably be good to get at the cause as Biofreeze mainly treats symptoms temporarily.
With a 2 year shelf-life and roll-on applicator, its just perfect for throwing in your gym bag and using as needed. Also recommend Treat Your Own Tennis Elbow for those who need additional options to treat their tennis elbow.

My back and shoulder was broken and my neck was fractured and nerves were damaged. I am in pain 24/7 and I am told that my condition will remain until the rest of my days. I am 26 now and still was hoping to find something that would make this painful journey a little bit less painful.
