(More customer reviews)The nerve tonic did very little for me but I actually bought a second bottle for my son to try. I bought them at Wal-Mart and when I got home, we opened up the bottle (which still had the red plastic seal around the lid) and the bottle was completely empty. Nothing was inside, so I called Hyland and was told that because I did not purchase them directly from Hylands (rather I went thru Wal-Mart) for this reason, they would not help me. I was told to contact the store for a refund, even though it was clearly a filling error by Hyland. So if you purchase this product from anyone else (even Amazon) then Hylands will not stand behind their product.

I was put on the drug Prozac and although this helped with the depression, for years, I would still have that hopeless feeling hanging over my shoulders. Also, the drug had no effect on the constant anxiety I felt. I have suffered from depression and anxiety my entire life. But in the past three years, since out of college, I have noticed it effecting, not only my relationships with others as it did in the past, but it began to greatly affect my work. I began taking Clarocet ERT and CT a little over one month ago. It has, literally, changed my life. Since, after the first week of taking Clarocet, my stress level has melted away to about a third or less of what it was before and the hopelessness has seemed to melt away. I have started a real estate investing partnership that I have put off for years, and my concentration has tripled. I am a very skeptical person, so I honestly believed that this product would not help me at all. I was wrong and happy to be so. I hope this will convince any of you that have doubts about Clarocet to at least try it. I am so thankful that I did.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this item as a university student for the purpose of using it in a laboratory experiment with neuronal-like cells. The neurite outgrowth observed in the cells confirmed that this product does contain actual serotonin. The concentration is not listed, but it was significantly more than required for affecting neuronal cell function in culture. Serotonin is not, however, able to cross the blood-brain barrier, and would not affect any portion of the central nervous system if ingested. The product is what it is claimed to be, though this means that it would likely be ineffective for many medicinal uses unless injected directly into the brain, which may have detrimental side effects. At any rate, it served my purposes, but I don't think people should try to heavily modify their neurochemistry and hormonal levels without professional assistance.
