(More customer reviews)We have been giving these to our six year old since he was four and we love these. We can tell a difference in about a week if we run out. He loves them and asks for them every night!
These are the best source I have found for fish oil and DHA for children. The dosage is 4 softgels and you get 37 servings in a bottle. You get 1,000 mg fish oil, 600mg Omega-3 fatty acids, 400mg EPA, and 200mg DHA in each serving.
These are softgels so children need to be able to swallow pills to take these. They are pretty small though and we never had an issue with our child as they were very easy to swallow.
I highly recommend these supplements for any child. Especially children with sensitivity, sensory, ADD, etc issues. Give it a few weeks and you will see a difference. Studies in England have shown that fish oil is as effective as Ritalin. We all know how great fish oil is! These are a fantastic supplement for your little one!

(More customer reviews)My son was having severe stress every single day. He would have panic attacks, and usually he was having problems with his clothes. Only a parent with a child with similar problems can understand what I mean by 'problems with his clothes'! He has had severe anxiety since he was very small, and he's 9 now. I give him one clarocet jr a day, and he's a different person. (in a good way) :) Yay!!!! We went from having tears and emotions and high stress every day before school, much of those tears being mine after he left, to having peaceful days.
I know it sounds too good to be true, but in my case, it helped so much. It was not a behavior issue, it was an emotional one, and this seems to be just what he needed. It took the edge off of his fears.

(More customer reviews)I got this product as a chewable non-fishy tasting alternative to fish oil for lowering my triglycerides. This is really a great product. It has a lot of omega-3 fatty acids and it tastes great. The tablets are not too hard and they have a very orange-y flavor that is slightly sour but still very good. No acid reflux from this product either, which is very nice.

With so many things to do before bedtime, my child does not forget taking vitamins since they are delicious and fun shape. I decided to go with organic because I did not want gelatin. The price at Amazon is great with Subscribe & Save service. Shipping is free as well. From the other reviewer, I just learned I need to give 6 yummi bears to a child who's more than 4 years old, but oh well... I think my son's going to love that idea.

Nature's Bounty Fish Oil 1200mg, 100 Softgels (Pack of 3) Review

(More customer reviews)There are competitor products with higher ratios of omega 3's (omega 3's being the whole reason you are taking them). However among reasonably priced fish oil this at the upper end, with 360mg in a 1200 mg capsule. In over a year of taking these pills, I've never had a "fishy" taste, even when one of the capsules broke in shipping and left oil throughout the bottle.
I recommend storing your extra bottles in the refrigerator. That will slow the rate of the oil turning rancid.
