Elta Tar Psoriasis & Eczema Relief 3.8 oz (107 g) Review

Elta Tar Psoriasis and Eczema Relief 3.8 oz (107 g)

In one area I have seen about a 50% reduction in symptoms and another about 30% reduction. It hasn't made them disappear completely but I am pleasantly surprised. It seems as effective as my prescription Taclonex, if not more so, on areas with muscle underneath. Compared to MG217, it seems to be better - MG217 seems a little harsher and leaves the patches a bit more red compared to the elta.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Melt-In Sunscreen, 5-Ounce Tube Review

I have exceptionally sensitive skin (even baby products are often too harsh for my skin). But my aesthetician recommended La Roche's Sunscreen Milk and it has been just amazing! It doesn't make my face break out, it lasts for ages, my makeup goes smoothly on top, and (most importantly) no burning sensation on my skin. I would highly recommend this product for anyone whose skin is a tad sensitive and who would like the added sunscreen protection.

Finally, an excellent sunscreen that goes on sheer like a lotion (without making your face whitish), smells nice and protects you for a good long time. We've use tested this product under the scorching caribbean sun on really really white-freckly kids, and we could not be happier. NO sun burns and NO problem!
Hurray to La Roche-Posay!

Worth the price to have a good sunscreen in the house. I use it only on my face because of the expense but it is great if you are showered for the day and don't want that total greasy feeling on you. Recommended by my doctor for my adult acne.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Water Resistant Sunscreen Cream, SPF 15 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) Review

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Water Resistant Sunscreen Cream, SPF 15 3.4 fl oz (100 ml)

I bought this sunscreen after reading about its improved protection against both UV A and UV B.
I have no complaints about the sun protection - it seems to work, though of course a true test of protection is long-term sun damage avoidance, and not from a few days' use.
But I dont like the texture of the cream. First, it is not a lotion but a cream. By which I mean its semi-solid and does not blend well on the face. I tried using a lotion moisturizer blended with this sunscreen to make it blend better, but its not easy.
Second, the sunscreen is very whitish and looks that way even after applying very little of it. So if you are somewhat tanned and apply this cream it will show up in whitish streaks on your face that do not sink in.
I also tried applying mineral makeup on top of this to reduce the white-out look, but the camouflage does not work too well.
Third, the sunscreen is not marked as 'non-comedogenic (does not block pores) so that might be an important factor for you to consider if you tend to have large pores, whiteheads or blackheads.
Summary: if you are going to spend a long time in the sun and want a high performance sunscreen, use this one. If you want something more mild for daily use, try out the SPF 15 version of this same brand, or look elsewhere.

works well, especially since my husband gets a cough but won't take cough medicine unless it is in a tablet format.

This version of "Anthelios" does not contain mexoryl, which is the most effective UV-A blocking agent. Don't buy this version of "Anthelios;" instead, look at the other Anthelios products that DO contain mexoryl. If you want a non-mexoryl sunscreen (which I don't recommend, since they are less effective against UV-A), then go with the Neutrogena productd that contain "helioplex," The lower SPF "dry touch" versions are reasonably effective, feel better on the skin than any other sunscreen I've tried, and are way cheaper than this product.
Having said that, the mexoryl-based sunscreens are more effective than the Neutrogena, so are probably worth the extra cost. Bear in mind that UV-A causes cancer, but not sunburn. A sunscreen that protects against sunburn, is not an effective anti-cancer agent unless it also protects against UV-A. Most sunscreens that claim UV-A protection only provided it for half an hour or so. Mexoryl, on the other hand, lasts several hours.
