Bauerfeind Zeuba Vital Ankle Support Review

Bauerfeind Zeuba Vital Ankle Support
Average Reviews:

I bought these ankle supports because I like to have a little extra support when playing basketball. I was looking for an ankle support that was light, not bulky, and provided good/moderate support... This product delivered in two out of the three categories. It's light, it's not bulky when wearing shoes, but it provides very minimal support. It is basically an overpriced neoprene ankle support because the strap doesn't do anything for the ankle. While the material that the product is made of is very good, the design is not so good. The strap is attached to the medial part of the foot, it then wraps underneath the food, back across the top of the foot to the inside/medial part of the ankle, and then around the high part of the ankle. As seen in the picture, the strap does not cover the outside/distal part of the ankle. Unfortunately, when most people roll their ankle it strains that same outside/distal part of the ankle. My biggest and perhaps only problem with this product is that the strap does nothing to protect the most susceptible part of the ankle.
Overall, this is a well constructed product that has some design flaws. It would be good for very light exercise but those needing better than ok ankle protection should look elsewhere (lace up ankle braces).

Mcdavid Ps Ii Hinged Knee Support Review

Mcdavid Ps Ii Hinged Knee Support

My husband loves this knee brace. He has had surgury on his knee twice and this has offered the best support. It feels like his knee is as close to 100% as it has ever been.
Plus they were very fast in shipping my order and the price is lower than I have found at any sporting goods store.

DS&#8482 754 Shoulder Support, Shoulder Brace, Double Star(DS) Support Review

DSand#8482 754 Shoulder Support, Shoulder Brace, Double Star(DS) Support
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I ordered this product based on reading the other reviews. The first thing that I found when I got the product was that is does not have the taper the photo on Amazon shows. It's just a 2" strap from the top of the shoulder to under the arm pit of the reverse shoulder, making it not as comfortable as it appears in the photo. Second, the chemical smell of the (I think) neoprene was so overpowering, it made me light headed. I soaked it and washed it three times, before it lighted up when dry. The product helps, but is not a cure. If your shoulders are massive, this will likely be too tight for you. I give think if it was what was pictured, I would have gave it 3 stars.

Bauerfeind MalleoTrain Left Ankle Support Review

Bauerfeind MalleoTrain Left Ankle Support
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am using the product to get extra swelling out from my ankle. I rolled my ankle awhile back and recovery is taking awhile. I will also be using this when I go on jogs and work out in general to prevent swelling of my ankle. I have had it for a day and it is extremely comfortable. It has silicon pads on both the inside and outside of the ankle bones and the compression is quite perfect assuming you measured your ankle right and purchased the right size support. I will write more after having used it for a bit.
However, there is little in terms of support to prevent the ankle from rolling. I will not be using this for basketball or any other 'contact' sports where having to break and change speed quickly is needed. The MalleoLoc is probably better suited for that and will be tested soon.
Pros: Effective, Stabilizes, Easy To Use, Comfortable
Cons: Provides Little Support in terms preventing ankle rolling/sprains

IMAK Arthritis Gloves Review

IMAK Arthritis Gloves
Average Reviews:

These gloves are OK, but they're no big deal. I thought they would feel a lot more supportive, but they just feel warm and snug. Thermoskin gloves are much more supporting. The disadvantage of Thermoskin is the unnatural feel of the fabric. I ordered these gloves because they looked more breatheable, which they are, so they will probably stay cleaner and less sweaty. However, they just give a modest amount of support.

I wear a size 10 shoe, so I ordered a medium. This thing is so tight I can barely get my foot into it. And then it's like cutting off my circulation even before I wrap the straps around my ankle.

McDavid Pro Stabilizer Knee Brace Review

McDavid Pro Stabilizer Knee Brace
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am recovering from a fractured knee cap and my doctor just took me out of a full leg immobilizer. Without any assistance, my knee is incredibly weak, unstable and not capable of a full range of motion. It also buckles if I walk without a cane or this brace...
Since donning the McDavid brace and had it overnighted. It's been worth every penny. The compression it provides is giving my knee the extra support it needs to help me walk around (without a cane). And the aluminum hinges have given me extra stability, increased my knee's ability to support weight and helped stop my knee from buckling and hyper-extending.
Is it pricey? Yes. Is it worth it to walk around normally, until I'm back to 100%. Yes, yes, yes!
I choose a McDavid knee brace after my injury because my knees bothered me before injury and I used one of their level II braces and loved it. Since this brace (a Level III) is of such great quality, McDavid will become my first choose for similar purchases....
I just hope I don't need them again anytime soon ;-)

McDavid Ankle Brace Review

McDavid Ankle Brace
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
It works. After suffering with ankle and foot pains for two months stemming from a running injury, I bought this in the hopes I would at least be able to avoid going to a doctor so he/she could tell me I needed a foot brace and medicine. After a month of use, my pain is all but gone. Can't recommend enough.
I look forward to putting it on every morning at this point. It's that comfortable. Easy to clean and good looking enough to wear with shorts, it has fit seamlessly into my life. The only negative thing of note is obvious: though it will fit in your shoes, chances are that it will stretch out the heel a bit. With extended use, you will probably want a new, snug pair of sneakers when you're done.

McDavid Waist Trimmer Review

McDavid Waist Trimmer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was skeptical about this product to be honest. I've learned that when it comes to my body, to change something requires Dedication and Discipline. I had fat stored in my stomach area (even though I'm skinny 6"3 and 200lb). I used this product for 2 weeks.
I did not change my routine and I never made abdominals and had poor cardio performance. I mainly did chest, bicep, back and other main muscles. During every exercise I felt the heat i was generating in my stomach area.
I had to readjust the Trimmer 3 to 4 times in a 2 hour period because of the water I was losing.
In just 2 weeks my stomach fat was greatly reduced and my waist looks way better. My Body fat is more or less the same 18% +/-1%.
I highly recommend it!
