(More customer reviews)This is only 1% cortisone, but the inactive ingredient is aloe so that's an added healing agent. I carry this in my purse now, since the mosquitos are out in force and my kids attract them. It doesn't matter what they wear or use, mosquitos will bite them through their clothes. The bottle closes very tightly, so I haven't had it leak. The product goes on very smoothly and easily, about the same consistency as those alcohol pens they used to sell for mosquito bites. It soothes a bit, but not as strongly as Benadryl Anti-Itch Gel For Kids, 3-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3) does. however, the Benadryl product is messy, it doesn't dry into the skin quickly like the Cortizone 10 stick does, and it's not simple to carry.
This product is the perfect answer to a kid upset over an itchy bite - takes the itch out long enough for them to forget about it and get back to playing. Summer must have.
