(More customer reviews)I have been looking for a good book on how to introduce or teach paganism/Wicca to my daughter for quite a while now. I bought this book along with "A Witch's Primer" and I like this book a lot. While I don't particularly agree with the age recommendations (starting a 5 years old is a way too young to start), the system is very well thought out. The book emphasizes ethics, family/community/world service, ecology, religious tolerance/understanding, safety (candle, fire, knife, etc), Art and expression, as well as ritual, sabbats, deities, and tools. The system is like a scouts system with merit badges, projects, and activities. Also, the system is organized in levels or degrees that are easy and motivational for children to advance through. Another great thing about this book is that it is free of the political/historical BS that usually accompanies such books and it encourages exploration and research. I like that the book asks questions of the students/children instead of "telling it like it is." Overall this is a great foundation for teaching children about their family's religion.
