(More customer reviews)So it tastes a little bad. So does beer but people drink that all the time! This stuff contains Pelargonium Sidoids. I've done my research on this because it works. It's actually some type of South African geranium. There are no side effects and it will kick a cold to the curb. Best to take at the very first symptoms. If you take it past the second day of a cold, you will still suffer, but not as much. I highly recommend this stuff. I have not had a cold in 2.5 years and I used to get them at least 4 times a year! They would always lead to bronchitus or sinus infections but no more! It is nothing short of a miracle.....tastes bad but works great!!!

Vicks Personal Steam Inhaler Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Inhaler after reviewing other comparable devices on the Internet. What sold me was the price and the name brand.
I've been using it whenever my sinus is blocked and it does a great job. Very low maintenance and the cost (water + a bit of electricity) is close to nothing to what it uses.
The face mask (I'll call it that) fits me well but I usually keep my head a few inches away when the steam really starts to engage. I surely don't want to fry my nasal passages and it could easily do that if I continue to keep my face right up to the mask.
I know I could use those menthol pads but the cost is high even searching around on the internet for lower costs. What I did instead is purchase those pocket Vicks inhalers that is not only cheap but very effective too! I usually stop for 30 seconds between steam sessions and inhale through each nostril about three times and then continue on with 5-10 minute sessions doing this for 20 minutes or so. Works real well.
I think the device will last me years and years and the maintenance with white vinegar is also low cost!

I can't use prescription albuterol. I've found the effectiveness steadily declines and I become dependent on it, needing several "fixes" a day. Not good.
I've been using Primatene for the last 5 years after giving up on asthma doctors and multiple prescription drugs that weren't helping me at all. I don't need to use the inhaler very often which is great! I keep one with me when I go out just in case but usually I'm fine. When the need arises, I use just a single puff and can breathe normally within a minute or less.
This stuff is wonderful and a life saver for me and many others when nothing else will work.
