When you take a swig of this it feels like a heat bomb is going off in your upper chest and the coughing just stops while your face cringes and contorts in amusing ways for those around you.

(More customer reviews)Every time I buy a DM cough suppressant, the taste is so awful that it almost always makes the medicine to spew out back - yuck! This cough medicine differs that it does not taste bad at all. It has a subtle orange flavor, slight sweetness, that I think even my kids will not mind. I say that because my little girl, always throws up every time she tries to get it down. We always have a bowl of ice whenever she takes it. By the way, it is also available for kids.
I was introduced to this brand just recently when I asked the pharmacist what he can recommend for my dry cough. It turned out to be quite effective. Effective enough to relieve the itching on my throat for many hours compared to the other over-the-counter medicine I have tried before.

(More customer reviews)I have tried other brands of cough medicine, and nothing has ever taken away my cough, so I was reluctant to waste my money on this brand. Wow am I glad I took that chance! I had Bronchitis, and I tried this stuff on recommendation from a friend. My cough was gone, totally gone, and I didn't feel the urge to cough at all. I was able to sleep through the whole night without even having to clear my throat.

The grape taste is really good! I actually enjoyed the taste. It is a light, grape koolaid like taste. The syrup isn't super thick, so its easy to drink down and it doesn't leave an aftertaste.
This stuff truly lasted the 12 hours that it claims to last. I forgot to take it for 14 hours, and I still didn't feel the need to cough. I also didn't feel any side effects like being groggy or fuzzy headed.

This will be the only cough medicine I will buy from now on, and I have already recommended it to several of my friends!

(More customer reviews)I have had a severe cold now for 5 days. The Chlortrimeton (Chlorpheniraminein ) this medication ( antihistamine) does nothing for a running nose or sneezing.
This is the second time I've tried this for a cold. Maybe it would work for an allergy as opposed to a cold. but for a cold it's useless. Does absolutely nothing to dry up your nose at all.
And there is nothing else on the market for those with hypertension and colds. So just buy 3 or 4 boxes of kleenex.

I've got bad allergies, with alot of "Frogs" in my throat and that is a problem for a Music Director. This is one of the few products that actually helps clear my throat. Also helps clear the nasal passage. It's wonderful, but be prepared, it's strong.

These things are very strong menthol and work. They work. For some folks, they are too strong (sip water if they are). When you need the real thing, try these.

It truly doesn't heighten blood pressure and you can work all day without a "medicine feeling". (More customer reviews)I use this product based on it's properties to not raise blood pressure. Down here in South sinus based difficulties plague many. For years I used another product which actually caused more problems. With Coricidin, you get relief within about 30 min and it continues sometimes out as far as 6-8 hours. Very good product and I highly recommend it for that occasional sinus pressure issue that we all have from time to time. It can be safely taken with Tylenol for relief of headache pain too.
It's my choice of OTC medications and being a transplant patient I take some medications.
