(More customer reviews)I received samples of the Wellesse Calcium, with Vitamin D3 Liquid at a local fun run. They have been sitting in my drawer for quite some time. I have had bad experiences with gross tasting liquid vitamins and had no interest in trying this.
But, recently I found that most of the supplements I were taking had Magnesium Stearate in them to lubricate the manufacturing equipment and that was causing major digestive issues for me as I was taking about 20 pills a day and getting way too much Magnesium Stearate, which is toxic in large doses. In my quest to reduce my supplements and get rid of all Magnesium Stearate I found that almost all pills and capsules have it in them.
I then realized that liquid vitamins where my only option. I still need to supplement calcium as well as Vitamin D3. So, I decided to try the samples and was floored! They actually taste good, they seem to be absorbed well and don't give me any digestive issues. I can even take them on an empty stomach! Try taking 1000mg in pill form on an empty stomach and see what happens. I know, calcium should be taken with meals, but sometimes I forget and don't want to skip my dose. This stuff absorbs great and doesn't cause an upset stomach.
The price is very reasonable, especially with Amazon Autoship! It looks like I will be going through the bottles pretty quickly though since you have to take two Table Spoons and there are only 16 oz per bottle, but here at Amazon you get 2 bottles shrink wrapped together which helps. But, it still is reasonable, especially since I'm actually absorbing this unlike the pill form.
There are no artificial colors or flavors.
The only thing I would recommend though, is more Vitamin D3 unless you live in a sunny area and are outside a lot. I like to take 2000 IU daily and this only supplies 1000 IU. So I also take the Wellesse D3 Liquid which tastes great as well.
