(More customer reviews)Although this product DOES sting a bit on rashy or irritated skin, especially with open cuts, it stings less than many other lotions. It also cools almost immediately, similar to a weak Tiger Balm. It's fantastic on eczema etc, and might even be helpful for bug bites and poison ivy. It does NOT do a great job of moisturizing, though that is to be expected with menthol and camphor. Cool your skin with this and then put a coating of a thin lotion on top, e.g. lubriderm or aveeno. Fantastic product, it's been a lifesaver with my allergies!
