(More customer reviews)I've had a few severe head colds this winter, and this is by far the best thing that I have used. I've tried many different syrups, pills, drops, etc from various brands, and this has been by far the most effective. The taste is pleasant - it's nice to have something other than the standard cherry, grape, or dreaded black licorice flavors - and I love the addition of Vicks, too. It also kicks in quickly and, though it doesn't always last the full four hours between doses, it does seem to last a lot longer than the standard cold syrup. This has really helped me get through the day a lot easier, and will definitely be my first choice for head colds from now on. If you're looking for something to really help with severe congestion and, as a result of that, phlegm and mucus buildup in the throat, definitely give this a try.
