(More customer reviews)Doxylamine succinate is different from the most common ingredient, Benadryl (diphenhydramine), which is in the vast majority of sleep aids.
Both are antihistamines, but for me, Doxylamine succinate acts faster and leaves me slight less drowsy in the morning. In fact, I usually take half of a tablet with good results.
It's hard to find in drug stores...so I was delighted to be able to buy it @ Amazon. Shortly after I got it, I did find it in Costco's at a lower price,hence the 4 star review. Oh well. I was just glad to get it period.
