(More customer reviews)I have been taking Zyrtec for year round allergies for years. I recently purchased some generic Zyrtec at my local grocery store (Shoprite) and they worked as well as Zyrtec. I did some research as to the manufacturer of the generic brand and found it was Ohm Labs. Well, Amazon sells this product from Ohm labs and at a much better price than the grocery and way below the original Zyrtec. Works just as good as the original.

Pill Box Mediplanner II Large Review

(More customer reviews)For Several years, I had been using the Deluxe Medtime Planner.
I fill 4 or 5 of them on a monthly basis. I find myself holding the DMP covers together with shipping tape after the first or second use.
I have not had to tape together the Mediplanner II top yet after a year's use, so I have purchased more to take the place of the Medtimes.
I am also testing out the Large Medi-Chest which allows you to carry just the daily case instead of the entire week with you. The daily case appears to be made of the same tough plastic as the MediPlanner II, however, the weekly containing case is made of brittle polystyrene, so I may end up with a bunch of daily cases without any weekly case to store them in!

As of 2007, after 1 1/2 years of testing, I now prefer the large Medi-Chest. Nothing has broken on any of the 5 units and the removable daily case is great for making day trips or going out hunting, fishing or golfing.

If I miss the symptoms and do get a full blown blister this keeps them from scabbing and helps heal more quickly. It does nothing for pain other than keep scabbing at bay but I just use a little numbing product for tooth pain if I have pain and that takes care of it. The only draw back is the cost. I really feel it could be less expensive.

(More customer reviews)I've dealt with the 1-2x per year cold sore for years now. They're awful, but you probably already know that if you're reading this. I admit I haven't tried a lot of cures because the only thing I'd heard of that really works is prescription medication and I never remember to ask my doctor. Fast forward to last weekend when I felt a cold sore coming on. I don't get the tingling sensation everyone talks about, I just end up with soreness on my lip and that's the sign that something's wrong. By that time I know I'm hours hours away from dealing with the full symptoms. Well I did some quick research on Amazon this time and found out about Abreva and I picked it up at Wal-Mart - a bit more expensive than Amazon, but I had it in 20 minutes. I proceeded to apply it every one to two hours the first day. I was pleased to find that by the next morning the usual symptoms - blistering, scabbing, etc - had been largely avoided. I applied several times the second day. By this morning (third day), I was just left with some discomfort from where the broken skin was already healing, but it never became a full-blown cold sore. Instead of two weeks of being self-conscious and in serious discomfort, I just had a day or two of minor discomfort. Totally worth it. The packaging and most reviews will tell you to apply this as soon as you know a cold sore is forming, which I agree with. I'm not sure how the effectiveness is reduced by waiting too long and I have no intention of finding out! Anyway, give it a try.

(More customer reviews)I read the previous reviews and agree the taste is bad. However, after 10 years of using this product I can say it works better than any pill. The reason is that fluids mixed properly with medicine and sugar will always have more efficient transit to intracellular space for proper cellular absorption. This is why hospitals infuse meds and dextrose IV solutions in the ER. You can add sugar, lemon, tea, honey, etc to this med as far as I know. Mix it only in hot water because its very granular... if you mix it with warm water then half of the meds will remain at the bottom of the glass unmixed; and that taste is potent, it would be like chewing noncoated raw aceitominophen tablets. I think this theraflu is also the one with 1000mg aceitominophen whereas the others have lower dosage. I also recommend you take this the moment you begin to feel sick. The packets are easy to travel with but they are sealed very tight and cannot be opened with your hand! You will need something sharp to cut the packet open... scissors, pen, or key will do the job.
Trust me... pain is you friend... deal with the taste and drink it down in 10 minutes and then go rest.
If you happen to live in Japan and are ordering this product... find a vending machine with hot ocha, spill out half of it, pour 1 packet in it, shake it up, and drink it down while riding the shinkansen or something. gambatte kudasai

This is the medication of choice in our house when we come down with colds, fever, headaches, or muscle pains and need a good nights sleep. I like that this can be taken on an empty stomach (unlike aspirin) because sometimes when you are not feeling well, it is hard to force food down just so you can take medicine. The sleep aid is very gental and does not leave me with a "hungover" feeling in the morning.
Highly recommended!

Her problem was that she had to take a special pill once a week but kept forgetting, this watch doesn't program each day, but at least I could put an alarm on it for each day reminding her that if it is Tuesday to take her pill....Seems the long way around but it worked for her, she loves it. It has a great feature that if you are busy when the alarm goes off...ie...on the phone etc, you can press a button and it will keep reminding you like every 3 mins or so with a reminder beep until you tell it to stop. Very easy to set up and change if you need to. My only negative would be Amazon's supplier of this watch 'epills', they sent a beeper to me first, I had to send it back and pay postage to send it back, but they never apologized or refunded my postage money to send back their mistake, even after a call and email.

(More customer reviews)When I saw this, it seemed like the greatest idea--a strong, over-the-counter wart remover that came in the form of a bandage, so not only was the wart sealed, but the medicine was sealed in too!
Well, the pad isn't very flexible and it doesn't stick very well either. So if you were planning on wearing shoes or taking a shower or going swimming, forget about the pad. I'm sure the medicine is strong, but it doesn't really get a chance to apply itself.
Compound W is probably the best over-the-counter wart remover on the market, this just isn't their best product. I would recommend the "Fast Acting Gel" to get rid of your common or plantar warts. It takes time, but really works. It's worth the $5-$6 to try to avoid freezing off your wart. Plus, you can apply the exact amount to the precise area needed. And if you're worried about embarassing stuff, you can always cover the area with a good old fashioned band-aid.
