(More customer reviews)Tylenol PM is a non-aspirin pain reliever and fever reducer that includes a mild sleep aid as well. This is the medication of choice in our house when we come down with colds, fever, headaches, or muscle pains and need a good nights sleep. I like that this can be taken on an empty stomach (unlike aspirin) because sometimes when you are not feeling well, it is hard to force food down just so you can take medicine. The sleep aid is very gental and does not leave me with a "hungover" feeling in the morning.
Highly recommended!

(More customer reviews)I couldn't figure out why, whenever I took this stuff because my arthritis was keeping me awake, I would suddenly find myself pacing the bedroom having a sort of anxiety attack. Then I did some research on the net and discovered I wasn't alone: there are quite a few people, including myself, who get "restless legs" due to an antihistimine contained in this product. In my case, I get restless legs, arms, and back - so that even if I run in place and stretch my arms I'm still uncontrollably restless in my upper back. It's awful. This problem is quite specific to Tylenol PM. If it happens to you, throw them away immediately! My advice is that if you're going to buy this stuff, try just one tablet to see if you're one of the unlucky few who are allergic to the antihistimine it contains. There are other products on the market that perform just fine, and without the exhausting side effects -- one of which is Simply Sleep Nighttime Sleep Aid. I sincerely hope this helps you decide whether or not to buy, and if you are already having problems from Tylenol PM, I hope I've helped you discover where the odd reaction is coming from!

(More customer reviews)When this arrived at my door I knew immediately what was in the package as the menthol odor was so strong. (However, it is interesting to note that the smell dissapates a bit upon use and eventually thins to an almost baby-powderish minty odor that may be the biggest improvement this formula offers over its competitors.) I was initially excited to see what Tylenol would offer the world in the form of a pain relieving cream and was a bit disappointed to find that it's basically just Bengay without the camphor.
Tylenol Precise relieves minor aches and pains but for those with more serious pain issues such as back or joint injuries or even arthritis, this cream isn't likely to do much for you. In fact, it's really little different from the other major brands on the market. Some will prefer this cream over the others based on its consistency and odor, but in terms of effectiveness, Tylenol isn't offering anything new with this "Precise" formula. A 3 star evaluation is "OK" and it is the same evaluation I would give to Bengay and Icy Hot in terms of effectiveness.Because I feel it's extremely important to know what's in products intended for self-medication, I have provided the following information:

The heat stayed nice and steady, no burning sensation, and the smell is negligible. It could stand to have slightly stickier adhesive, but it wasn't really in any danger of falling off. I'd definitely be willing to buy this again.

(More customer reviews)Occasionally, my lower back gets cranky. After a bad ice storm in 2008, I ended up hurting my shoulders by hauling a lot of dropped branches and axing and sawing them into smaller pieces. To what do I turn? Advil (and generic ibuprofen).
Once upon a time, when I first started having lower back problems, I'd take prescription drugs that would put me in "lala land" for a couple days until muscles relaxed. Then, I discovered that ibuprofen (normally in the form of Advil, but sometimes generic) did the trick about as well--without knocking me out--and for a lot less money.
So, I am an advocate for Advil and ibuprofen generally. 3 tablets three times a day takes care of most lower back or shoulder problems. Fortunately, I have never had any adverse reactions to this dosage when the discomfort becomes acute.

They look and taste like candy so you want to keep these way out of the reach of children unless you are giving them one for a fever or pain relief. They are really delicious and quite a surprise with their melting delicious bubblegum flavor. These might work if you have a small headache or just that irritating feeling that a headache is approaching. Sort of lifts the headache mist and clears the mind.
