(More customer reviews)This handbook is written in the down-to-earth style that most of us speak in. It's also set out attractively, with subheadings, text in boxes or sections highlighted to break up the content. I found this style kept my interest and actually made it an enjoyable read.
I was reassured by the 'Managing your morale' section...which lists some of the common causes for low morale that students (especially mature students) can experience. From your printer letting you down to a family member or friend needing you when you have work to finish. I'm not the only one then!!
This is then counterbalanced with a list of situations that can improve your morale.
The book includes tips on essay writing, an explanation of 'key procedure-related words' and what is expected of you when these terms are used. Clear advice and examples of how to insert quotations and citations into your work and reference them correctly.
Overall a very useful book to own.
