This book is based on the true story of Grenada WI during the time when Cuban's and Russian's were trying to gain a stronghold in our hemisphere. (much like cuban missle crisis) but shocking not so long ago. The Author had been living on this Island during this time and you get a much more realistic view of what really went on. The politics, a view from the people of the island as well. Also you get the added bonus of a great fiction story to add some punch to the whole truth. (I'm sure the based on the characters on that Island..and there are characters there, I have been there) It's a fast moving read with a great story and don't let the fact that this author is not in every airport book shop fool you.. She spins an awesome tale, and she is surely an up and commer. Cheers! Enjoy! I hear she is writing her 2nd book...I can't wait!!
